Biography

Meg Manchester, co-leader of Miles & Stockbridge’s Corporate, Securities and Tax Practice Group, has a diverse transactional tax practice, emphasizing corporate, partnership, real estate and international tax matters.

Her corporate advisory work includes formulating and implementing tax strategies for a variety of business transactions including equity offerings, merger and acquisition transactions, commercial and tax-related entity restructurings, executive compensation planning, international tax structures and compliance, and nonprofit formation and governance. She also counsels real estate clients on a wide array of tax matters including investment fund formation, tax credits and incentives, tax-advantaged and tax-deferred transaction structures, and REIT operations. She has over a decade of experience at law firms in San Francisco, Boston and the Washington, D.C. metro area.
