Miles & Stockbridge’s nationally recognized summer associate program is the firm’s single most important source of new associate hiring.
Its strength is rooted both in our lawyers’ commitment to the students and the breadth of training the firm offers.
Miles & Stockbridge offers our summer associates real-life opportunities to contribute to the kind of substantive work that would be assigned to a first- or second-year associate. We strive each year to ensure that our summer associates are energized by a balance of intellectually stimulating work, educational programs and social activities, all designed to introduce our summer associates to our lawyers and practice areas.
We conduct virtual interviews through on campus recruitment programs at several regional schools. Please check with your school's career services office. If we do not conduct interviews at your school, please apply directly.

During OCI, prospective candidates from participating institutions should apply through their career service offices. Apply directly through our website only if you attend a school that Miles & Stockbridge does not participate in during OCI. (Applications open June 1.)

For schools, we conduct first-round interviews through the schools' OCI platforms. For direct applications, we conduct initial round of interviews virtually. All second-round interviews are held in person at one of our participating offices. Case-by-case adjustments are considered.
