This Asian American Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) Heritage Month, we are pleased to highlight Jun Tigas, the firm’s Baltimore-based purchasing manager and our incredible, in-house photographer. Jun, whose family is from the Philippines, shares how his heritage shaped who he is today.

“Filipino culture is centered on the family and strong family ties. My family is no different, with our faith serving as our anchor, plus our traditional music and food. At the same time, the Philippines is a very diverse country, which means some traditions come from a melting pot of ideas. It’s that adaptability in a multicultural environment, while being true to your roots, that is the biggest aspect of my heritage that made me who I am today.”
