Program Description:

Please join us for the Twenty-First Annual Spring Break Weekend on May 5-6, 2017 at the Loews Annapolis Hotel. Once again, the Maryland Bankruptcy Bar Association has put together a program filled with interesting educational panels and fun networking opportunities. In addition to the annual recent developments panels and judges’ roundtables on business and consumer bankruptcy issues, we will have mock lift stay hearings and presentations on fraudulent conveyances, bankruptcy appeals, Chapter 13 plans, healthcare bankruptcies, divorces in bankruptcy, and ethics. Panels will be led by members of the bar and bankruptcy judges from Maryland, Virginia, Delaware and DC. We welcome members of the Maryland Bankruptcy Bar Association, Maryland State Bar Association Consumer Bankruptcy Section, Walter Chandler Inn of Courts, and Northern Virginia Bankruptcy Bar Association. We also welcome non-member consumer and business bankruptcy practitioners and non-bankruptcy lawyers seeking to gain practical bankruptcy knowledge. We will request, and expect to receive, approved CLE credits from Virginia, Delaware and Pennsylvania.
