Biography
Christopher Sennett represents issuers, lenders, borrowers, underwriters and other parties in all types of public finance transactions. He also serves as counsel to financial institutions in connection with commercial finance transactions, secured real estate loans and the extension of secured and unsecured credit facilities.
Chris focuses on tax-exempt and taxable bond transactions for commercial and investment banks, political subdivisions, economic development agencies, for-profit and nonprofit entities (including healthcare institutions, secondary schools and other 501(c)(3) organizations), corporate trustees and bond purchasers. Chris has served as bond counsel on transactions in the District of Columbia, Maryland, Pennsylvania and Virginia in support of significant economic development, including water and sewer infrastructure, healthcare, education and transit projects.
Before joining Miles & Stockbridge, Chris served as bond counsel on transactions and provided legal advice on general operations for school districts, municipalities, authorities, political subdivisions and other governmental entities in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
