Gene Schleppenbach, a principal in the firm’s Corporate, Securities & Tax practice group, participated in the “Mid-Atlantic Angel Summit” as part of the larger Entrepreneurial Ecosystems Conference. This daylong summit was part of the Tom Tom Festival, a series of six conferences that gather civic leaders, entrepreneurs, engaged citizens, and legendary innovators to explore what makes hometowns thrive in the 21st century.
Program Description:
A convening of seed and early-stage investment professionals in the Mid-Atlantic, this event is open to accredited investors (with a conference badge) from Virginia and beyond. This two-hour event will cover regional investment trends and will end with a primer on how valuation at the earliest stages of a company’s lifecycle influence investor returns and company trajectory.
