Program Description:
This breakfast briefing seminar will focus upon the ins and outs of the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) focusing on more complex and nuanced leave situations and situations that can get employers into trouble. This interactive program will cover many real life scenarios that Human Resources and employees in charge of payroll may encounter:
- remote employees
- notice requirements (employees' and employers' notice requirements, supplemental leaves)
- exhaustion of FMLA leave
- key employees
- leave for alcohol/drug rehabilitation
- working while on leave
- successor in interest situations
