Sasha Hodge-Wren Earns Miles & Stockbridge Pro Bono Advocate Award
Miles & Stockbridge is pleased to announce that Sasha Hodge-Wren, a trial lawyer in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office, has been selected as the 2020 recipient of the Miles & Stockbridge Pro Bono Advocate Award. In recognition of Sasha and her work, the Miles & Stockbridge Foundation will make a contribution to a charity or charities of her choice.
During the last year, Sasha helped engage 16 Miles & Stockbridge lawyers, paralegals and law students in volunteering for the national, non-partisan Election Protection Hotline through the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law and the Election Protection Coalition. Together, they volunteered more than 280 hours on the hotline to help protect the voting rights of others, encourage voting in general and make sure everyone’s vote was counted. They took calls from home and provided assistance at all stages of voting and on matters related to registration, absentee and early voting, casting a vote at the polls, and overcoming obstacles to their participation.
