Biography

Shelley King represents mortgage lenders in connection with the acquisition, construction, substantial rehabilitation, and refinancing of both market-rate and affordable multifamily housing financing transactions under various loan programs, including loans to be purchased by Freddie Mac or Fannie Mae or insured by the Federal Housing Administration.

Shelley has experience in dealing with various property related features that impact financings, including ground leases, commercial leases, Tenancy in Common (TIC) structures, joint ventures, preferred equity, Housing Assistance Payment (HAP) contracts, restrictive covenants and fractured condos. She also has experience with various loan servicing and asset management related issues.
