Biography
Alberto Rivera represents mortgage lenders in a variety of commercial real estate financing transactions, including new construction loans, refinancing and acquisitions.
His experience and expertise with multifamily projects involving tax-exempt bond financing, bridge loans, secondary financing and low-income housing tax credits provides value to his clients by identifying and resolving potential financial and regulatory issues early in the process.
Alberto’s practice focuses on multifamily project loans and health care loans insured by the Federal Housing Administration throughout the country.
Alberto serves as co-chair for the American Bar Association’s Forum on Affordable Housing and Community Development’s annual conference in Washington as well as co-chair of the forum’s Housing and Urban Development Practice Group.
