Biography

Angela M.Z. Amisano represents mortgage lenders in multifamily real estate financing transactions, including loans to be purchased by Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.

She assists mortgage lenders on a wide range of multifamily products, including market rate and affordable housing financing, manufactured housing, acquisition financing, student housing and existing project refinancing utilizing multiple types of financing structures. These financing structures include those with multi-layered soft and hard subordinate debt, various classes of preferred equity, HAP Contracts, Payments in Lieu of Taxes (PILOTS) and other tax exemptions that incorporate ground leases with affordability restrictions and/or issuance of municipal taxable bonds, preservation deals, Tax Increment Financing and Historic Tax Credits.

Angela has worked with various local municipalities to negotiate agreements to satisfy GSE loan requirements. She can successfully navigate complex transactions by understanding the objectives of every party to the transaction and focusing on finding creative solutions to meet those needs.
