Our lawyers understand that creditor committees represent the needs of diverse, unsecured stakeholders and our strength lies in the ability to assess and balance those needs, enabling the committee to satisfy its fiduciary duty and obtain the most advantageous result for the general unsecured creditors.

In committee representations, we work with all parties in interest, including the debtor, secured creditors and the United States Trustee’s Office, to develop strategies that maximize recoveries while minimizing administrative expense.

In addition to representing unsecured creditor committees and committee co-chairs, Miles & Stockbridge represents bondholder committees and reorganization plan committees. Our focus is on finding common ground among committee members and working to realize the maximum amount for creditors.
