Ian R. Button
Biography
Ian Button advises clients in all areas of government contracting in all phases of the business lifecycle, with an emphasis on bid protests.
Prior to entering private practice, Ian was a lawyer with the Court of Appeals Litigation Group at the Department of Veterans Affairs Office of General Counsel, where he developed extensive experience in veterans’ law while representing the department secretary before the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims.
He was previously an intelligence officer for both the Defense Intelligence Agency and National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, where he provided strategic analysis on matters critical to U.S. national security interests, including foreign military capabilities and defense issues.
Ian is a graduate of National Intelligence University and is conversational in German.
