Jonathan H. Yellen
Biography
Jon Yellen has more than 30 years of diverse corporate experience as a boardroom lawyer and counselor who advises companies on legal matters and business strategies.
He most recently was a founding partner at Greyhart Capital, where he supported entrepreneurs and search funds with their investments. He previously served as general counsel of FelCor Lodging Trust and associate general counsel at Starwood Hotels & Resorts.
Jon has sat on the boards of both publicly traded and privately held businesses ranging from oil fields to healthcare services. He currently sits on the board of PsychoGeriatric Services and is lead independent director at Basic American Foods, a third-generation family-owned business that is the largest manufacturer of shelf-stable dehydrated potato products in the United States.
Jon began his career handling mergers and acquisitions as well as private equity matters at Latham & Watkins and Fried Frank.
