Biography

Katie Wilson helps clients negotiate commercial lease modifications, workouts and amendments.

She also provides general business advice and advises on property rights, mechanics’ liens, leasing rights and other day-to-day legal issues.

Katie has experience in complex civil litigation as well as appellate briefing. She has represented large commercial property owners in complex real property disputes; defended real estate developers against allegations of fraud, breaches of fiduciary duty, and conversion; and defended a health care company in a multi-week arbitration over corporate control, corporate minority oppression and corporate mismanagement.

Katie served as an assistant attorney general and Ruff Fellow in the Office of the Attorney General for the District of Columbia’s Office of Consumer Protection prior to entering private practice.
