Veteran Family Law Lawyer Joel Zuckerman Joins Miles & Stockbridge’s North Bethesda Office
Strategic hire strengthens firm’s ability to represent family law clients in high-net-worth international and domestic matters
Miles & Stockbridge, an Am Law 200 firm with more than 200 lawyers and offices in Maryland, Washington, D.C., Virginia and New York, is pleased to announce that veteran family law lawyer Joel Zuckerman joined the firm’s North Bethesda office today as a principal. He brings more than three decades of experience to a Family Law & Private Clients team that regularly handles complex international and domestic high-net-worth divorce and child access and custody cases.
Zuckerman represents clients in divorce, child custody, property division and other family law matters at the trial and appellate court levels. He also has extensive experience litigating cases under the 1980 Hague Convention on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction.

Zuckerman previously spent 20 years at Maxwell Barke & Zuckerman in Rockville, Maryland. He focuses on efficient, thoughtful advocacy that helps protect clients’ interests, minimize unnecessary conflict and keep the long-term impact on children and families at the forefront.
