Biography

Meggie Chen advises clients on all aspects of commercial real estate, commercial finance, bankruptcy restructuring and creditor’s rights matters.

She previously served as general legal counsel and in senior executive roles with multiple international financial institutions and multinational companies, where she assisted in numerous private equity, merger and acquisition, equity finance, debt finance, business restructuring and general corporate matters.

Meggie clerked for Judge Rebecca B. Connelly of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Virginia and Judge Elizabeth S. Stong of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of New York. While in law school, she externed for Judge Paul M. Baisier of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Georgia.

She is fluent in Mandarin and qualified to practice in China.
