Dwight Stone Appointed to DRI's Law Institute
Miles & Stockbridge is proud to congratulate litigation principal Dwight Stone on his appointment to DRI’s Law Institute. DRI is the leading national organization of defense attorneys and in-house counsel. The 20-lawyer committee for the Law Institute — DRI’s accreditation body for CLE and educational oversight entity — works with nearly 30 substantive law committees on the content of their seminars, as well as developing new seminars and alternative forms of CLE.
His three-year term began earlier this month.
Stone has been a DRI member since 1996 and chaired its Commercial Litigation Committee from 2021 to 2023 after serving in a number of other leadership roles.
Stone represents clients in products liability matters and complex business disputes. He leads the firm’s representation of clients before the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) in connection with corrective action plans (recalls), civil penalties, and reports and investigations under the Consumer Product Safety Act. This includes some of the most complex and high-profile matters involving the CPSC in recent years.
