Biography
Dwight Stone represents clients in products liability/product safety matters and complex business disputes.
He leads the firm’s representation of clients before the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) in connection with corrective action plans (recalls), civil penalties and reports and investigations under the Consumer Product Safety Act. This includes many leading consumer product brands and some of the most complex and high-profile matters involving the CPSC in recent years.
Dwight has 30 years of litigation experience representing clients in various state and federal courts across the United States. Best Lawyers in America® has named him “Lawyer of the Year” for the Baltimore market in four different areas, most recently for Product Liability Litigation – Defendants (2024). Maryland Super Lawyers® listed Dwight as one of Maryland's "Top 50" and "Top 100" attorneys from 2011 through 2015.
He also is a frequent presenter and contributing author at national litigation and product safety conferences.
