Biography

Andy Lien represents leading mortgage lenders nationally in the construction, rehabilitation, acquisition and refinancing of multifamily and health care facilities, with a particular expertise regarding loans insured by the Federal Housing Administration (FHA) and the development of affordable housing.

With extensive experience in navigating complex financing structures, Andy engages with stakeholders and decisionmakers, counseling clients on the implications of the National Housing Act, FHA regulations and policies in the integration of multiple layers of public and private funding sources, including Government National Mortgage Association (GNMA) mortgage-backed securities, tax-exempt bonds, tax credits, as well as other federal and state grant and subsidy programs.
