Warren T. Allen II
Biography
Warren Allen helps clients respond to subpoenas, investigations and enforcement actions by the U.S. Department of Justice, offices of inspectors general and other state and federal agencies.
He has experience advising companies, their boards and executives in matters related to allegations of corruption, false claims, insider trading, money laundering, sanctions program violations, bid rigging, frauds, misuse of funds, harassment and discrimination, as well as other claims of misconduct. Warren also helps companies assess and evaluate potential enhancements to their compliance programs, assists clients with responses to compliance diligence requests during commercial transactions and represents clients in civil litigation matters.
Prior to joining Miles & Stockbridge, Warren co-founded a boutique white-collar litigation firm where he represented companies and individuals in government enforcement proceedings, litigation and corporate compliance matters. Warren also worked at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP for 12 years.
Warren served for six years as a police officer and detective in Los Angeles prior to attending Georgetown University Law Center. After law school, he clerked for U.S. District Judge Gladys Kessler in Washington, D.C., where he helped draft opinions and orders on matters involving employment discrimination, retaliation, contract disputes, fraud, the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act and the Administrative Procedure Act.
