Biography

Alex Avakian represents companies and their owners throughout the entire life cycle of the business. 

Alex advises clients on entity formation, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate matters, including governance, capital raises, and operations. He routinely negotiates and drafts organizational documents and other commercial contracts. Alex also has advised clients on business succession and real estate matters, representing clients in highly regulated industries.

He earned his J.D. from Syracuse University College of Law, where he was an executive editor with the Syracuse Law Review and a student attorney at the Low Income Taxpayer Clinic offering legal assistance to low income taxpayers in their controversies with the Internal Revenue Service.
