Biography

Brandon Cuffy focuses his practice on mergers and acquisitions, strategic financial transactions and general corporate law.

He has significant experience counseling middle-market private equity sponsors and senior company management on a range of transactional, operational and corporate governance matters.

Brandon regularly advises clients on leveraged buyouts and add-on acquisitions, sales to both private equity and strategic buyers, growth equity transactions, venture capital financings, search fund investments, capitalization management, corporate restructurings, entity formations and commercial transactions. He represents clients operating within a broad range of industries, including financial services, technology, life sciences, healthcare and manufacturing. 

Prior to joining Miles & Stockbridge, Brandon was an associate in the private equity group at Goodwin Procter LLP, representing middle-market and upper-middle-market financial sponsors and their portfolio companies on financial transactions and day-to-day operations. He also served as an associate with regional law firms in Boston and Providence, Rhode Island, where he focused his practice on strategic M&A, venture capital, private investment fund formation, general corporate law and securities law.
