Bridget K.M. Brodie
Biography
Bridget Brodie represents manufacturers and other businesses in a wide variety of commercial, products liability, and mass tort litigation matters.
In her products liability practice, Bridget’s experience includes defending manufacturers against claims of alleged negligence, manufacturing defect, design defect and/or failure to warn. Additionally, she defends clients against claims of alleged negligence in personal injury matters.
Bridget also has represented clients in environmental litigation and enforcement actions, specifically in Superfund site cost recovery/allocation actions and matters related to CERCLA liability.
Before joining Miles & Stockbridge, Bridget served as a law clerk to The Honorable Mary Ellen Barbera, Chief Judge of the Maryland Court of Appeals (now the Supreme Court of Maryland). She also completed a legal internship with the Office of Consumer Protection of Montgomery County, Maryland.
Bridget is a magna cum laude graduate of the University of Baltimore School of Law, where she served as Managing Editor of the University of Baltimore Law Review and represented low income clients in child custody, domestic violence, and divorce proceedings as a Rule 19 student attorney with UB’s Family Law Clinic. She earned her bachelor’s degree magna cum laude from the University of Mary Washington.
Bridget was a summer associate at Miles & Stockbridge in 2019.
