Biography
Carl Schwertz is a persuasive litigator in a wide range of matters, including product liability, mass toxic tort, commercial and catastrophic personal injury defense.
Carl’s first-chair, jury-trial experience in more than 250 cases in federal and state courts throughout the country has provided keen insight in advising clients in risk evaluation and a fearlessness in helping them reach the best possible outcome.
He has been national coordinating and trial counsel as well as local counsel for several target defendants in asbestos litigation.
Carl has spoken to many groups in the areas of toxic tort, insurance coverage and product liability.
