Biography

Chris Bowman represents commercial property owners and landlords in disputes, workouts and defaults under commercial leases and related agreements.  

He advises clients on lease interpretations and the negotiation of commercial lease modifications. He drafts and negotiates lease amendments and workouts while also assisting with general business matters, including property rights, mechanics’ liens and day-to-day legal issues.

Chris has represented clients, including publicly traded national real estate investment trusts, in the prosecution and defense of lease and property-related claims. His litigation experience also includes representing clients in disputes involving common-law claims, monetary and non-monetary lease defaults, damages claims and claims for injunctive relief.

Chris’s practice also includes the representation of commercial landlords as creditors in various collection, bankruptcy and insolvency proceedings.
