Biography

Eric King serves the legal needs of technology clients by applying a deep understanding of intellectual property rights and how to navigate the complex patent process.

A registered patent attorney with advanced engineering and business degrees, Eric is experienced in multiple technical fields, including artificial intelligence hardware and software, electrical and electronic systems, industrial control systems, semiconductor processing equipment, telecommunications, computers and computer systems, microprocessors, microcontrollers, power electronics, wireless technologies, spread spectrum radio, software and computer-related inventions, aerospace, automotive systems and robotics.

He represents domestic and foreign companies in intellectual property matters including patent preparation, acquisition, enforcement, and prosecution as well as in trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, licensing and other business matters that arise in those technical fields. He also performs intellectual property asset due diligence for mergers and acquisitions.

Prior to practicing law, Eric served in various engineering and management positions in the wireless and defense industries for more than 13 years.
