Biography
Katherine Coyle assists clients in commercial litigation and products liability matters. She also handles complex divorce, child custody, property division and other family law matters, providing advice and support tailored to each client’s unique situation.
She regularly counsels on high-net-worth divorce work, high-conflict custody disputes and international child abduction cases, along with federal and state private client appellate work.
Katherine graduated cum laude from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law, where she was executive symposium director for the Maryland Law Journal of Race, Religion, Gender & Class. She was a student attorney for the Justice for Victims of Crime Legal Clinic where she handled a Child in Need of Assistance case and litigated a Juvenile Restoration Act hearing in Baltimore City Circuit Court.
During law school, Katherine was a judicial intern for Judge Matthew J. Maddox in the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland. She also was a member of the Maryland Law National Trial Team, where her team won the American Association for Justice Mid-Atlantic Regional Competition. She was a recipient of the University of Maryland Litigation and Advocacy Award.
Katherine was a 2023 summer associate at Miles & Stockbridge.
