Biography
Leslie M. Cumber provides counsel to clients across all sectors of the healthcare industry.
Leslie’s practice centers on complex healthcare transactions and the corporate needs of providers across the continuum of care. She represents hospitals, health systems, physician groups, ambulatory care facilities, long-term care facilities, post-acute care providers and other healthcare industry participants in mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures and strategic affiliations.
Her transactional work is informed by extensive regulatory experience, including federal and state fraud and abuse laws, licensure and reimbursement considerations, corporate practice of medicine and fee-splitting restrictions, certificate of need issues and other general operational and corporate compliance matters.
Leslie also advises nonprofit organizations on governance matters, including board structure and fiduciary duties, regulatory compliance and organizational best practices.
