Biography
Madeline Ziegler assists clients in commercial litigation and with resolving complex commercial disputes in federal and state courts.
She counsels clients across a broad spectrum of issues, including antitrust litigation, construction disputes, dealer termination litigation, products liability and other forms of general contract and business tort disputes. She also has experience representing private clients and nonprofit organizations.
Madeline advises clients on antitrust litigation and related matters in both private civil litigation and administrative enforcement. She provides antitrust advice directed toward finding solutions to support clients' strategic business objectives and competitive goals while fully complying with the relevant federal and state antitrust requirements.
She also serves as co-chair of the firm’s Parent Lawyers Group, which supports parent lawyers across the firm.
Madeline graduated magna cum laude from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law, where she served as an associate editor of the Maryland Law Review, as well as a staff attorney for the Justice for Victims of Crime Legal Clinic, which provides holistic legal services to crime victims. She handled asylum, U-Visa, and Child in Need of Assistance cases in both Spanish and English for the clinic. During law school, Madeline also completed a chambers internship with the Maryland Court of Appeals (now the Supreme Court of Maryland).
A member of the Order of the Coif, Madeline was the recipient of the Joseph Bernstein Prize for legal writing, the Ann Barlow Gallagher Prize for service to children and youth and the William P. Cunningham Award for exceptional scholarship.
She received her bachelor’s degree in politics from Princeton University, where she graduated with honors.
