The Daily Record and the Maryland State Bar Association honor outstanding lawyers and judges annually through the Leaders in Law awards program. 

Megan McGinnis and Jim Shoemaker have been named 2023 recipients of The Daily Record’s “Leaders in Law” awards. Megan was named a winner of the Generation J.D. award, which “honors attorneys who have been admitted to the bar for 10 years or less and demonstrate professional accomplishment, community service and a strong commitment to the legal profession early in their careers.” Jim was named a winner in the Law Firm Innovation Award on behalf of the Legal Operations department and its work using data analytics to support our lawyers in providing exception client value.
