Defended Charitable Foundation in Proposed Class-Action Litigation
Successfully defended a charitable foundation by obtaining dismissal with prejudice of a proposed class action in federal court alleging improper pass-through funding from a pharmaceutical manufacturer. The case is one of six similar actions handled for the foundation across the country, all seeking tens to hundreds of millions of dollars in damages.
Represented Manufacturer in International Franchise Dispute
Represented an international designer, manufacturer and supplier of jewelry in a dispute with the former exclusive franchisee and distributor of our client’s products in certain South American countries. Matter involved international arbitration proceedings before the Danish Institute of Arbitration (“DIA”), and related civil litigation in the state and federal courts of Florida.

Obtained dismissal of all claims against a healthcare provider in whistleblower action under the False Claims Act.
