Biography
Michael Haslup has a 20-year track record of successfully representing manufacturers and other corporate clients in products liability, mass tort, class action and other complex, high-stakes litigation as both national counsel and lead counsel in Maryland and the District of Columbia.
His extensive experience in all aspects of civil litigation includes product line and claim investigation, witness development, fact and expert discovery, depositions, dispositive motions and trial. He frequently leads pre-trial strategies that achieve dismissal, summary judgment or other desirable resolutions before or during trial.
In addition to his work on hundreds of cases in state and federal trial courts, Michael is a tested appellate litigator and has briefed and argued cases before the Supreme Court of Maryland and the District of Columbia Court of Appeals.
Michael has been recognized by Best Lawyers in America® for product liability litigation and mass tort litigation/class actions.
