Stacy Manley Named Co-Leader of Real Estate & Transactional Finance Practice at Miles & Stockbridge

Miles & Stockbridge announced today that Stacy L. Manley, a principal who represents clients in all aspects of real estate matters, will co-lead the law firm’s Real Estate & Transactional Finance Practice Group.
"Stacy leads by example in her practice and regularly works with colleagues to deliver high-quality solutions for clients,” said Nancy Greene, chairman, president and CEO, who also is a principal in the real estate group. “She has closed numerous commercial property acquisitions and high-value retail development deals. Stacy travels nationally and internationally to build client relationships, but always makes time to mentor the next generation of lawyers here at home.”
“I want to be a voice for my colleagues in the RETF group and become a resource to help them thrive in their own practices,” Manley said. “I am excited to see what we can do when we work together as a team and how our success will help with the firm’s continued growth.”
Manley will join Andrew E. Skopp in leading the practice. “Stacy represents the future of our firm,” said Skopp. “She has consistently been a key contributor to our practice group, and I’m excited to see the fresh ideas and perspectives she will bring to this new role.”
The Real Estate & Transactional Finance Group expanded last month thanks to Miles & Stockbridge’s merger with Krooth & Altman, a preeminent real estate finance law firm in Washington. The Krooth & Altman GSE and HUD Team at Miles & Stockbridge will continue to specialize in financings involving loans originated through programs of the government-sponsored enterprises (GSE), such as Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac and federal agencies such as the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
“The Krooth & Altman team brings in a new set of voices and perspectives to our group and our firm, which is always beneficial,” Manley says. “Their practice areas complement our existing practice areas and will provide another area of expertise that our clients can rely on.”
