Biography

Teresa Azzam represents businesses and individuals in a broad range of commercial, business and government contracts disputes in federal and state courts, as well as before arbitral tribunals.

Teresa has handled matters related to breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, fraud, corporate governance disputes and business torts, among others. She also counsels government contractors in disputes between teaming agreement partners, joint venture partners, prime contractors and subcontractors.

Teresa regularly works with the firm’s Government Investigations & White Collar Practice Group, conducting investigations in a broad array of sectors, including construction, financial services, telecommunications and government contracting. She has experience in internal investigations, investigations before the Department of Justice and compliance reviews.

Prior to joining Miles & Stockbridge, Teresa worked in Dubai for an international law firm where she counseled clients on international dispute resolution, international arbitration, and investigations. She is fluent in Spanish and spoken Arabic.
