On Thursday, March 11, Miles & Stockbridge's Labor, Employment, Benefits & Immigration Practice Group held its 19th Annual Hot Topics in Employment Law Seminar virtually.

If you logged in, we hope you enjoyed the seminar. If you were unable to make it—we missed you! In either case, we want to provide everyone with some important follow-up information.

Special Note:

Every year, we look forward to seeing everyone at Hot Topics, sharing food and drink and greeting our wonderful friends and colleagues in person. This year, of course, has been anything but normal, but we are grateful that we were still able to gather virtually to share critical news and analysis in real time. In lieu of some of the benefits of a traditional in-person meeting, we have decided this year to “pay it forward” and make a donation on behalf of the firm and our Hot Topics attendees to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Maryland. Our practice has been a proud supporter of this organization and its mission for decades.

Online Event Survey:

We would love to hear your thoughts on this year’s seminar. Please complete this 3-minute event survey by 5 p.m. on Friday, March 19, so that we can incorporate your feedback into future seminars. Thank you in advance.

HRCI and SHRM Certificates:

This program has been approved for 2 HRCI Business and SHRM credit hours. All certificates will be emailed to qualifying participants by Friday, March 19. Please note: (1) one certificate will be emailed, which can be used for both HRCI and SHRM accreditation records; and (2) we are unable to provide partial credit for the program – you will only receive a certificate if you logged in by 10 a.m. EST and attended the entirety of the program.

Finally, if you have any questions, please feel free to contact Events Manager Emily Ilardo Kuser.

We look forward to seeing you in 2022!
