Biography

Sarah D. Cline represents property owners, developers and operators with local, regional and national real estate interests in the acquisition and disposition of all classes of real estate.

Sarah draws on her litigation and title backgrounds to anticipate potential problems in real estate transactions and to proactively address complications as they arise. Sarah advises clients through all stages of real estate transactions, including negotiating, structuring and drafting letters of intent and purchase and sale agreements, and assists through due diligence, closing and post-closing.

Sarah serves in several leadership roles for the American Bar Association Section of Real Property, Trust and Estate Law (RPTE), including as a member of the Real Property Council, chair of the Residential, Multi-Family and Special Use Group, vice chair of the Commercial Real Estate Transactions Group, and member of the CLE Committee. She is a former RPTE Fellow. Sarah is also a past chair of the Real Property Section of the Maryland State Bar Association. Sarah was recently elected a Fellow in the American College of Real Estate Lawyers (ACREL). ACREL is the premier association of U.S. real estate lawyers and recognizes outstanding legal ability, extensive experience, and high standards of professional conduct. Admission is by invitation only following a rigorous screening process.

She served for five years as the volunteer coordinator of the Wills for Heroes Program in Maryland, which provides free wills, living wills, healthcare and financial powers of attorney to first responders throughout the state. She also is an advocate for animals and serves on the Board of Directors for Days End Farm Horse Rescue in Woodbine, Maryland.
