Roger Abbott, Jennifer Coyne, Brian Filler and Richard Loube Elected as Principals

Miles & Stockbridge is pleased to announce that lawyers Roger V. Abbott, Jennifer J. Coyne, Brian G. Filler and Richard A. Loube have been elected principals of the law firm.
The new class of principals combines their legal knowledge with modern industry insights to deliver client-focused solutions in the following areas:

- Resolving corporate and business disputes, from simple matters to highly complex litigation in state and federal trial courts and federal appellate courts
- Guiding businesses through mergers, acquisitions, premerger notification and compliance, commercial matters, and corporate governance
- Advising developers on project financing and other commercial real estate considerations and issues

Roger V. Abbott (Washington office) represents government contractors in litigation, regulatory, policy and transactional matters involving a variety of federal departments and agencies. His experience includes litigating large controversies, including contract disputes and bid protests before the United States Court of Federal Claims and the Government Accountability Office and the Armed Services Board of Contract Appeals, as well as a variety of state tribunals.
Jennifer J. Coyne (Baltimore office) has over two decades of experience resolving a variety of corporate and business disputes, from simple breach-of-contract cases to highly complex commercial litigation in state and federal trial courts and federal appellate courts. Jen litigates torts, negligence, property damage, vendors, billing issues, subpoenas, indemnity, insurance coverage, real estate matters, commercial landlord tenant litigation and even high-profile trust and estate disputes.
Brian G. Filler (Washington office) represents business clients in a wide range of corporate and commercial matters, including mergers and acquisitions, commercial agreements, corporate governance and a variety of transactional matters. He also regularly advises clients through U.S. premerger notifications before the Federal Trade Commission and Department of Justice and on compliance with the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act of 1976.
Richard A. Loube (Washington office) focuses on both equity and debt transactions, including mortgage and mezzanine finance for commercial, mixed-use and multifamily residential projects. He also advises clients on various aspects of commercial real estate and finance related to real estate development, including acquisitions and dispositions; ground leases and other commercial leasing for retail, office, industrial and solar; and title matters, such as common-ownership communities, recorded covenants, easements and title defects.
