Associates & Counsel Committee
Developing associates is essential for the long-term success and stability of a law firm. At Miles & Stockbridge, associates gain skills and grow as lawyers by working alongside our principals, allowing them to handle complex legal matters and gain institutional knowledge that forms the quality service that our clients expect.
To further assist associates as they start their legal careers, our Associates & Counsel Committee has created a peer network that supports firm initiatives and professional growth. The committee provides internal networking and relationship building across practice groups and levels of experience and serves as a voice to firm leadership to provide professional development and mentoring. The committee also offers leadership opportunities to associates and counsel.
Mission
We aim to improve satisfaction among Miles & Stockbridge associates and counsel by maintaining a positive peer network in which to connect, work together in support of firm initiatives, and collectively approach our growth as lawyers. We do this by providing opportunities for internal networking and relationship building across practice groups and class years. We act as a go-between with leadership to achieve firm goals and recommend new initiatives in support of associates and counsel, including professional development and mentoring. We support firm engagement by providing leadership opportunities to a broad group of associates and counsel.
