Miles & Stockbridge Welcomes Eight Summer Associates

Miles & Stockbridge is pleased to welcome our 2023 summer associates class. This very talented cohort of eight students from schools in Maryland, Washington, D.C. and Indiana will have opportunities to visit with and work with lawyers across the firm during their eight-week, in-person program.
The students – seven rising third-years and one rising second-year – will work with practice groups with a specific future hiring need for an entry-level associate. During the program, the summer associates will have opportunities to work on multiple substantive projects, from start to finish, in a specific area of interest. They also will participate in the firm’s diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives, as well as professional development training and social events.
Miles & Stockbridge lawyers Megan McGinnis, principal-in-charge of legal recruiting, and Danny Adamson are overseeing the program. In addition, the following lawyers are serving as project coordinators to help generate and assign projects from different practices to the summer associates: Roger Abbott (Government Contracts), Kristin Burtzlaff (Corporate, Securities and Tax), Leslie Cumber (Health), Glenn Gordon (Litigation) and Richard Loube (Real Estate and Transactional Finance.)
“We are so excited to welcome this talented group to the firm, and we look forward to working with and getting to know them over the next two months,” said Adamson. “Year after year, our summer associates contribute to the firm’s culture and energy in a special way, and we expect this year will be no different. It’s going to be a great summer!”
