Miles & Stockbridge is pleased to welcome our 2024 summer associates class. This very talented cohort of five students from schools in Maryland, Washington, D.C. and Virginia will have opportunities to visit and work with lawyers across the firm during their eight-week program.

The students – five rising third-years – will work with practice groups with a specific future hiring need for an entry-level associate. During the program, the summer associates will have opportunities to work from start to finish on multiple substantive projects in a specific area of interest. They also will participate in the firm’s diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives, as well as professional development training and social events with colleagues.

Miles & Stockbridge lawyers Megan McGinnis, principal-in-charge of legal recruiting, and associate Danny Adamson are overseeing the program. In addition, the following lawyers are serving as project coordinators to help generate and assign projects from different practices for the summer associates: Alex Avakian and Estelle Louisignau (Corporate, Securities & Tax), Tyler Duckett-Oliver (Labor & Employment), Susan DuMont (Litigation) and Lauren Fleming (Government Contracts).

We look forward to helping them along in their burgeoning legal careers while also having some fun,” said Danny. “Our summer associates energize our offices with their enthusiasm and fresh perspectives, and we know this year will be no exception.”

The summer associates, pictured above from far left, are:

Suraj Singh will be working with the Corporate team out of the Baltimore office. He is scheduled to graduate from William & Mary Law School in 2025.

Samara Rahman will be working with the Government Contracts team out of the Washington office. She is scheduled to graduate from American University Washington College of Law in 2025.

Amanda Fruman will be working with the Corporate team out of the Baltimore office. She is scheduled to graduate from The University of Baltimore School of Law in 2025.

Grace Clark will be working with the Labor & Employment team out of the Baltimore office. She is scheduled to graduate from The University of Baltimore School of Law in 2025.

Tyrese McNair will be working with the Litigation team out of the Baltimore office. He is scheduled to graduate from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 2025.
