Sasha Hodge-Wren and Reginald Smallwood to Lead Miles Minority Network

Miles & Stockbridge is pleased to announce that Sasha Hodge-Wren and Reginald Smallwood are stepping into leadership roles as the newly appointed co-chairs of the Miles Minority Network, which has been chaired by Veronica Jackson, a principal in the firm’s Labor, Employment, Benefits & Immigration practice, over the last five years.
“The affinity groups at Miles & Stockbridge promote equal opportunity across our firm and in our communities through programming, training and celebrations,” said Jernee Bramble, director of diversity, equity, inclusion and professional development. “We are so grateful for Veronica’s leadership. Her dedication, vision and commitment have been instrumental in shaping the Miles Minority Network into the strong community it is today. Sasha and Reggie have worked closely with Veronica on both client matters and firm initiatives through the years, so it’s wonderful to see them step into this leadership role to promote equal opportunity both within and beyond the firm.”
Hodge-Wren is counsel in the firm’s Labor, Employment, Benefits & Immigration Practice Group in Washington. Her practice spans employment litigation, complex commercial and business litigation, and government and internal investigations. She defends employers and businesses in matters involving discrimination and harassment, retaliation, family medical leave matters, as well as other clients in government investigations.
Smallwood is an associate in the firm’s Corporate, Securities & Tax Practice Group in Baltimore. He represents business and corporate clients in mergers and acquisitions, corporate compliance, entity formation and other commercial and general corporate matters.
In addition to the Miles Minority Network, Miles & Stockbridge also supports the Miles LGBTQIA+ Alliance, led by Bill Riggins and Lauren Fleming; the Miles Jewish Alliance also called The Tribe @ Miles, led by Stephanie Baron, Michele Cohen and Brian Moffet; the Miles Women’s Network, led by Holly Drumheller Butler and Tyler Duckett-Oliver; and the Parent Lawyers Group, led by Celia Van Lenten and Madeline Ziegler.
